Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top five social apps in Qatar showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Bigo Live - Live Streaming App, and Likee - Short Video Community.

TikTok showed a steady trend in weekly active users, maintaining around 1M users throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at $176K in the last week of December, then saw a gradual decline, stabilizing around $124K to $160K towards the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 46K in the first week of January before dropping to 20K by the end of March.

Facebook experienced consistent weekly active users, starting at 1.73M and ending at approximately 1.77M. Revenue peaked at nearly $4K in the week of February 20, with other weeks generally ranging between $1K and $2K. Downloads remained stable, averaging around 15K to 17K per week.

Instagram had a stable active user base, beginning at 559K and slightly increasing to 567K by the end of March. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at $642 in early January and maintaining around $286 to $459 through the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged between 12K and 18K, with a slight downward trend towards the quarter’s end.

Bigo Live - Live Streaming App had a consistent user base around 60K to 64K. Revenue peaked at $41K in late December, with notable increases to $38K in late February. Downloads ranged from 5.8K to 8.1K, showing a slight decrease towards the end of March.
